A striking private rental project in the heart of London. Simple, classic interiors combined with beautiful furnishings & finishes.
How it began Backstory
Delighted to be working with long term client, Queensway Hospitality, Occa were appointed to undertake the interior design, FF&E procurement and turnkey installation of twelve private flats in the famous Albert Hall Mansions.
Beautifully converted by Bernard Tulkens and his team at Tectonic Architects, the conversion of the apartments took on a simple yet striking Scandic aesthetic that worked perfectly with the new spaces created.
What we did Our approach
Working within a listed building context, our designs reflected the style and restraint of contemporary Scandinavian design, while working with decorative lighting to illuminate the vaulted ceilings and period details.
Bringing our vision to reality, our Procurement team moved in ordering, delivering and installing all the FF&E for all eight apartments in record time, using their exceptional negotiating & organisational skills combined with their eye for detail to position and style everything from sofas to teaspoons.
A perfect example of a sucessful turnkey project, delivering outstanding design, with exeptional FF&E services, on a very tight programme.
