Join OCCA as our Head of Branding and lead a dynamic team, creating memorable experiences and delivering innovative branding solutions for the global hospitality industry.

We are recruiting a new Head of Branding with +8 years of post-grad experience to deliver our exciting projects across a mix of hospitality projects and our luxury residential, and innovative workplace projects.

The ideal candidate is a talented creative with a proven track record of successfully leading branding projects and delivering great outcomes for clients and their projects.

As Head of Branding, you have ownership of the OCCA Branding division and are tasked with delivering outstanding creativity and beautiful collateral for our clients and our own branding & marketing projects.

You’ll work with existing clients including global hotel groups across select service and 5-star properties, luxury vacation clubs and private developers, while taking the OCCA brand to new heights, as we expand the reach of this service and promote it to new customer groups.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Development: Drive the growth of OCCA’s Branding division by shaping its strategic vision and identifying new branding opportunities open to us.
  • Team Leadership: Build and manage a hybrid team of in-house and freelance creatives to deliver high-impact projects efficiently while ensuring project profitability.
  • Creative Excellence: Lead the creative process from ideation through execution, consistently delivering original, high-quality work across various media, including digital, print, and environmental graphics.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle from concept to delivery, ensuring seamless collaboration among multidisciplinary teams. Working on multiple projects/tasks with varying complexities, meeting deadlines and supporting the wider creative team
  • Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with a diverse clientele, ensuring our branding solutions exceed expectations and achieve strategic goals.
  • Muli-disciplinary approach: Collaborating with the extended project teams, internal & external, including interior architects & designers, copywriters, marketing, designers, photographers, videographers and front-end developers to help guide projects to completion
  • Professional Development: Mentor and guide the creative team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Graphic Design, Branding or Brand Management, or Advertising, or a related field with at least 8 years of post-graduate experience.
  • Leadership: Ambition to launch and grow a branding division, specialising in hotels & hospitality, understanding the intricacies of client delivery and budget management.
  • Technical Proficiency: You are an Adobe Creative Cloud superstar, are proficient in MS Office. You are also open-minded and curious about the impact of AI on the visual arts
  • Creative Flair: Exceptional design and visualization skills, with a portfolio demonstrating diverse and impactful creative work.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to lead client presentations and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Agile and responsive to feedback, with a willingness to embrace new challenges and continuously learn.
