Berkeley Group’s King’s Road Park development is set within a beautiful London park in the Chelsea Design district, close to the iconic King’s Road and the River Thames.
How it began Background
King’s Road Park is the last project of its scale in the South Fulham Riverside Regeneration Area, creating over 1,800 homes, restoring two Grade II listed buildings, and providing 100,000 sq. ft. of commercial space for an eclectic mix of restaurants, bars, and offices.
Following a competitive tender, in March 2022 Berkeley St William appointed the OCCA Procurement Team as their preferred partner to complete the FF&E Procurement, Supply, and Installation for the Resident’s Facilities.
What we did FF&E Procurement Services
The development boasts outstanding luxurious residents facilities including a Residents’ Lounge Bar, Dining Room & Private Meeting Rooms, 25m Swimming Pool with Vitality Pool, Sauna & Steam Room, Gymnasium with Two Fitness Studios and Treatment rooms, Games Room, Virtual Golf Simulator & Two Cinema Rooms.
Working with the FF&E schedule originally prepared by EPR Architects, and conscious of the demanding project programme on Kings Road Park, OCCA’s Procurement Team quickly mobilised to update the cost plan and build out the delivery schedule, while raising supplier purchase orders without delay.
OCCA’s established relationships with key suppliers ensured that orders were expedited with goods successfully delivered and installed across all the facilities, to meet the client’s deadlines & budgets – with no surprises.
