Description
This new build Hampton by Hilton property was developed by Atlas Hotels (formerly Somerston Hotels) and was one of the first Hampton by Hilton sites to open in the UK. Working closely with the team at Hilton, Occa Design was instrumental in redefining the brand to suit the UK market.
Well-considered space planning created an open-plan public area where zones flow seamlessly together, unifying the core components of the Hampton by Hilton brand ethos. Double height spaces with a mezzanine level offer an architectural strength in the design, forming light, bright spaces with clean lines and crisp finishes.
Brand aligned finishes such as walnut wall panelling, feature wall coverings, carpet, timber floors and ceramics create a clean and high-quality backdrop for the more vibrant FF&E finishes palette. Core design details and materials for the Hub counters and Breakfast Zone are implemented.
An eclectic range of furniture forms a variety of informal groupings in keeping with the Hampton by Hilton values. A variety of shapes and styles create welcoming and unified spaces. Unusual upholstered furniture piece in contemporary styles sits aside feature booth seating and high poseur table with ornate detailing. Vibrant fabrics and contemporary designer lighting add a sense of playfulness. Locally relevant artworks taking influence from the historical Liverpool music scene.
This contemporary boutique style hotel is designed to suit the modern day business and leisure traveller under the Hilton brand collection. Our interpretation of the brand concept has brought a freshness to the Hampton by Hilton brand, ideally suited to the UK location of this site. The playful, design-led approach to both materials and form has given weight to the interior design and created space which flows together and transitions seamlessly from day to night, appealing to the wide range of guests which stay in this extremely popular, prime City Centre hotel.
