Description

This elegant and sophisticated Chelsea Apartment is luxurious in its contemporary design style. Creating the perfect show home with which to ‘wow’, this stunning upscale interior design style has a broad appeal.

Set in a traditional London apartment, the rooms have traditional bay windows with sash and case detailing which bath the space with light. Stunning parquet floors bring warmth and elegance to the interior architecture as does traditional plaster panel detail on the walls.

A largely monochrome palette is used across the furniture. Black, white and various tones of silver combine to stunning effect. Furniture is generously upholstered in linen, satin, velvet and wool. Elegant button back detailing and exposed metalwork highlight the contemporary direction of the concept. Chrome combines with black timber veneers, and tinted glass across many of the pieces. The contemporary style has some traditional references which enhance the luxurious appeal.

Bold geometric patterns in classic styles are seen across the furniture shapes, textiles and accessories. The continuity of this design style and detail ensures the interior concept flows comfortably throughout the apartment concept and gives a slight nod to some of the style and flare of Art Décor period and The Great Gatsby itself. A vibrant orange accent runs throughout the rooms referencing the opulence of the Hermes brand.

Accessories are elegant and refined, from the delicate style of the glassware to the crystal table lamps. Polished chrome and glass feature throughout the selections.

Bringing modern decadence to a traditional apartment this luxurious interior design style is not short on impact. Despite a whimsical nod to the elegance of a bygone era this style remains indisputably contemporary in it’s overall style. This sophisticated scheme is definitely one for grown-ups.
